LONDON, ENGLAND — (08-10-22) — Owners of the famous LGBT Theater ‘Above The Stag’, announced on Sunday that due to financial costs and work required at the location, “We have no choice but to close our doors”. The award-winning LGBT theatre, which was known for its cabaret lounge and bar.

The south London theatre that was well known as an exclusively LGBTQ+ performance space, is now going into the history books. The owners of Above The Stag said on Sunday that the Vauxhall venue would close immediately, despite a new production that has just began its run at the LGBT Theater.
