In honor of this historical moment, Vibratex is celebrating with contests and giveaways that celebrate Magic Wand’s permanence as a cultural icon.
Since its debut on May 20, 1968, millions of people from every walk of life have enjoyed the Magic Wand – and they’ve shared their love for its legendary power with others. From simply telling friends to creating artistic tributes, these gestures of appreciation have transformed a humble product into a symbol of pleasure and individuality.
Retailer Contests Celebrating Magic Wand Day
Magic Wand Day is an opportunity to celebrate the community that has made Magic Wand the most iconic, “permanent” pleasure product in history.
“Our goal is for Magic Wand Day to be a giant ‘thank you’ to everyone who supports and loves the brand,” explained Vibratex CEO Ken Herskovitz. “While the product itself is what brings the community together, it’s the community that keeps the product alive.”
Consumers can join the celebration through Vibratex’s #MagicWandInk giveaway on Twitter and Instagram – both @truemagicwand – in honor of individuals who’ve opted to honor Magic Wand with an equally permanent expression of pleasure and joy: a Magic Wand tattoo.
Friends and fans can send along images of their magical ink for a chance to receive a Magic Wand of their choice by Thursday May 19, 2022 at 5 pm PT. Submission details and more information are available at magicwandoriginal.com/magicwandink.
Further, Vibratex is giving away cash and products to the winners of the Magic Wand Day Display Contest. Further recognizing countless friends and fans who have shown their love with ink, this year’s display contest theme is Magic Wand Tattoos. Vibratex has even printed temporary tattoos (designed by prominent artist Gentle Jaz!) to apply and/or give to customers.
