AUSTIN, TX — (08-17-21) — Texas Governor Greg Abbott shocked the Republican party cable news media outlets today announcing he has tested positive for covid-19.
Abbott who says he has been fully vaccinated, has a breakthrough case of covid-19. His office emphasizes that he is “in good health, and currently experiencing no symptoms.”
“Governor Abbott is in constant communication with his staff, agency heads, and government officials to ensure that state government continues to operate smoothly and efficiently,” the statement reads.

The Lone Star state has been experiencing a surge of covid-19 cases and today, they have requested mortuary trailers to handle the death toll from the Delta variant. In fact the Texas Tribune is reporting that “Texas COVID-19 surge could be worst one yet”.
