Nicholas Cage is back in Prisoners of The Ghostland

HOLLYWOOD, CA — (08-11-21) — Academy Award-Winner Nicholas Cage is back to star in Sion Sono’ ‘Prisoners of The Ghostland (2021), an RLJE Films release that is set to be released in theaters and On Demand in August.

Cage portrays a ruthless bank robber is sprung from jail by a wealthy warlord and sent on a dangerous quest to find his adopted granddaughter, who has gone missing.

Synopsis:
“Set in the treacherous frontier city of Samurai Town where a ruthless bank robber is sprung from jail by wealthy warlord The Governor, whose adopted granddaughter Bernice has gone missing. The Governor offers the prisoner his freedom in exchange for retrieving the runaway. Strapped into a leather suit that will self-destruct within three days, the bandit sets off on a journey to find the young woman and his own path to redemption.”

The action movie also stars Sofia Boutella, Nick Cassavetes, Ed Skrein, Bill Moseley, Yuzuka Nakaya and Tak Sakaguchi, in a film directed by Siono Sono and written by Aaron Hendry and Reza Sixo Safai.

RLJE Film has confirmed that Nicolas Cage starring in “Prisoners of The Ghostland’ will hit theaters, On Demand and Digital September 17, 2021.
