NEW YORK, NY — (05-18-21) — New York Attorney General’s office joins forces with Manhattan DA’s office in the criminal investigation into the Trump Organization.
The New York A.G.’s office announced on Tuesday that they have been conducting parallel investigations for more than a year, though the inquiry by the office of New York’s attorney general, Letitia James, had been civil in nature.

The New York Attorney General spokesman, Fabien Levy, released the following statement today:
“We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature. We are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan DA.”
