LINCOLN, NE — (05-13-21) — Over a dozen adult store customers were cited last week by the city prosecutor in connection to an undercover operation a month ago at the popular Romantix adult store, located at 2929 N.W. 12th Street in Lincoln.
Officer Erin Spilker told JRL CHARTS that their criminal investigations unit had received tips that people were allegedly engaging in public sexual acts in the arcade room at the popular adult store.
According to Officer Spilker, during the operation, which ran from March 25-26 of 2021, police cited 25 people for indecent exposure, five for public indecency, two for inmate of disorderly house and two employees for maintaining a disorderly house, said Spilker.
Prosecutors filed several of the misdemeanor cases this week.
We are sure to see most of these cases dismissed as undercover vice officers have been known to falsify police reports in cases involving lewd conduct at adult stores.
