Man Who Masturbated with Sex Toy in Adult Store Sentenced

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — (12-28-20) — A young Oklahoma man who masturbated with a sex toy at a popular Oklahoma City adult store, has been sentenced to psychiatric treatment.

Gilbert Cordero, 23, made headlines last month when he went to the popular Carlie’s adult novelty shop located at 6000 S I-35 Service Rd, and decided to masturbate with a sex toy on display in the store. Surveillance cameras caught the entire incident.

A Carlie’s employee told police she recognized Cordero as a previous job applicant, and said she saw him on a security monitor putting his penis into the toy and “thrusting his hips into” it, before putting it back on the shelf.

After the Carlie’s employee “hit the alarm” inside the store,, Cordero stopped and proceeded to walk off.

Cordero “making movements consistent with masturbation while using a ‘sex toy’ device on display for sale in a store open to the public” was deemed “injurious to public morals” in criminal complaint filed against him.

On December 8th, Judge Hudson ruled that Cordero showed remorse for his actions and ordered his case be transferred to Mental Health Court to scheduled the defendant for psychiatric treatment.
