HOLLYWOOD, CA — (12-10-20) — Multi award-winning lesbian talk show host Ellen DeGeneres revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday on twitter.
The leading daytime talk show host surprised many in the industry when she made the announcement as she has now become the highest profile member of the LGBTQ community in the entertainment industry to become infected.
“Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe.” said Degeneres in her tweet.
