Columbia Police Release Video in Passions Adult Boutique Robbery

COLUMBIA — (10-01-20) — After two days of intense coverage by media outlets including JRL CHARTS, the Columbia Police Department have released the surveillance video of the armed robber that took place at the Passions Adult Boutique on Thursday September 24th.

Every needs to give praise to the Passions Adult Boutique employee who kept the situation calm and thankfully no one was physically harmed during the robbery.

Investigators are hoping that the the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect will lead to an arrest.

The suspect entered the adult store brandishing a handgun and demanded money. After the employee complied with the suspect, he fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Thankfully no injuries were reported.

A Columbia Police K-9 unit was dispatched to track the armed suspect but was unable to locate him.

The suspect is described as a white male with reddish facial hair, in his mid to late 30s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.
