HOLLYWOOD, CA — (08-13-20) — ‘The War with Grandpa’ is the hilarious upcoming American family comedy film starring Academy Award-Winner Robert De Niro and Golden Globe Award-Winner Uma Thurman.

Directed by Tim Hill, ‘The War on Grandpa’ is based upon the Award winning novel by Robert Kimmel Smith. The screenplay was written by Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember.

The comedy film also stars Cheech Marin, Rob Riggle, Oakes Fegley, Jane Seymour and Christopher Walken.

Synopsis:
“Peter and his grandpa used to be very close, but when Grandpa Jack moves in with the family, Peter is forced to give up his most prized possession: his bedroom. Peter will stop at nothing to get his room back, scheming with friends to devise a series of pranks to drive him out. However, grandpa doesn’t give up easily, and it turns into an all-out war between the two.”

The War with Grandpa (2020) starring Robert De Niro and Uma Thurman will be in theaters on September 18, 2020.
