STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN — (08-13-20) — One of Sweden’s biggest pop stars, Darin Zanyar, known by his stage name as, Darin, announced that he was Gay on his Instagram platform.
Darin is one of Sweden’s best-selling artists, with seven number one albums.
The 33 year-old openly gay pop superstar posted his message in celebration of Stockholm’ Pride Season.
“Everyone in the world should be able to be proud and accepted for who they are. I know how difficult it can be. Took me a while, but I am proud to be gay. Happy pride!”
