EVANSVILLE — (03-12-20) — Evansville Police are now questioning a suspect in the adult bookstore armed robbery that took place on Monday March 9.
Officers say it happened just before 7:30 p.m. last Monday at the “Lovers Playground located at 519 N Main Street in Evansville.

Police told media outlets that the suspect, who was armed with a knife when taken into custody, demanded money from the adult bookstore clerk and got away with $300 in cash.
A K-9 unit led Evansville police to a home where they found a man matching the suspect’s description. The suspect was taken into custody for questioning, but has not been arrested.
