Police Hunt for Adult Video Store Armed Robbery Suspect

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB TBV — (11-11-19) — Police need your help in locating a man accused of robbing an adult video store on the afternoon of Oct. 28. Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Grande Prairie are investigating an armed robbery of adult retail giant, Source Adult Video Store located at 10022 100 Ave. The adult video store chain operates 9 brick and mortar locations.

According to RCMP, a man carrying a weapon with his face covered, entered the Source Adult Video store shortly after 4 p.m. Oct. 28. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police Use Tracking Dogs but unable to locate Suspect

Luckily no one was injured during the robbery. Officers and police dogs used tracking dogs to locate the suspect but were unable to find him.

Police are now asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect who is described as a white male, wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie with grey and red sleeves. He was also wearing a lighter-colored baseball cap and dark boots.

The suspect was also reportedly carrying a dark-colored drawstring bag. Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP at 1 (780) 830-5701 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
