CHARLESTON, S.C. — (09-26-18) — A lawsuit and criminal case against math teacher Jennifer Olajire-Aro, who is accused of lowering her student’s grade because he stopped fucking her. The 17 year-old and his mother are suing Charleston County School District for negligence.
According to reports in The Post and Courier, 27-year-old Jennifer Olajire-Aro allegedly “encouraged and coerced” her student, then 17, into having sex with her multiple times.
The civil lawsuit filed last week against the Charleston County School District further says that the teacher would remind him that she controlled his grade. If the 17 year-old tried to refuse her advances, scores would drop.
That is what allegedly happened as the lawsuit says he told his mother after the teacher lowered his grade from a 98 to 89 when he refused her sexual advances in December of 2017. Jennifer Olajire-Aro was arrested that month. Her criminal case is pending.
So far the Charleston County School District has said they can not comment because they have not seen the lawsuit.
