A Private War: Rosamund Pike As War Correspondent Marie Colvin

A Private War is the upcoming American biographical heart stopping film directed by Matthew Heineman and starring Rosamund Pike as journalist Marie Colvin and Jamie Dornan as her photographer. Directed by Academy Award nominated director for Cartel Land, Mattew Heineman unveils the dark side of journalism. What reporters go through when trying to bring the truth to public eye. ‘A Private War’ is based on the 2012 article “Marie Colvin’s Private War” in Vanity Fair Magazine by Marie Brenner.

The film was written by Arash Amel and co-stars Tom Hollander, Jamie Dornan and Stanley Tucci.

In February 2018, Aviron Pictures acquired distribution rights to ‘A Private War’. The distribution company premiered the official trailer of ‘A Private War’ on Monday August 27 on YouTube with immediate reaction.

Aviron Pictures has confirmed that the film will make its world premiere at the Mill Valley Film Festival on October 4, 2018. The film will then be released on November 2, 2018, in limited release, before expanding wide on November 16, 2018.
