GAINESVILLE, FL — Alachua County Sheriff’s Robbery & Homicide division are continuing to hunt for a man who robbed the X-Mart Adult Supercenter located at 3510 SW 13th St, back on Monday July 24.
This was prior to the “Inside Robbery” that took place at the X-Mart Adult Supercenter retail chain’s Macon, GA location on Saturday August 5.
Deputies responded to X-Mart Adult Superstore shortly before 2 a.m. Monday July 24, said Alachua County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Chris Sims.
The suspect who witnesses say wore pantyhose or stockings over his face to conceal his identity from surveillance cameras. The suspect is described as wearing a white Michael Jordan jacket and a black shirt when he approached the X-Mart cashier at gunpoint.
The armed suspect got away with a undisclosed amount of cash from the register leaving no injuries upon the employee.
Sgt. Chris Sims stated that deputies set up a perimeter around the X-Mart store but they so far have not yet caught the suspect.
