TOLEDO, OH – Robbery and Homicide investigators are probing the armed robbery that took place at a popular adult bookstore early Thursday Feb. 23 in North Toledo.
According to the Toledo police department’s report on this case, officers responded to a silent alarm at 3:21 a.m. at the Adult Pleasures bookstore located at 4404 N. Detroit Ave.
An employee stated that a male suspect with a face mask and gun entered the store and demanded she empty the cash register, said police.
The male suspect fled the store and got into a dark-colored car and drove on Lagrange Street toward downtown Toledo. Police did not release information on any merchandise or cash that was taken from the store.
