The Institute (2017) is a thriller film directed by James Franco and Pamela Romanowsky. Franco has truly expanded his wings over the past year and this project which also brings together actors Topher Grace, Pamela Anderson and Josh Duhamel, will catapolt this $3 Million dollar budget film to impressive numbers in theaters in domestic sales and overseas receipts this spring when it is released in March 2017.
Plot:
In 19th century Baltimore, a girl stricken with grief from her parents’ untimely death, voluntarily checks herself into the Rosewood Institute, and is subjected to bizarre and increasingly violent pseudo-scientific experiments in personality modification, brainwashing and mind control, she must escape the clutches of the Rosewood and exact her revenge.
